What is coaching?

What so many of us long for is a cheerleader, but an honest one. Someone who knows transitions can be scary, but also knows that change is ultimately the path to freedom. Someone who can skillfully pull from us what we truly desire for ourselves (hint...it's been there all along!) and then deftly guide us in formulating our plan, holding us accountable for taking action. Someone who notices our tiny wins along the way, and is the first to point them out. Who could you be, what might you accomplish if you released what’s holding you back? Released the old tired stories about who you are that you've been carrying since...forever? Do you know what that is? Are you willing to explore yourself to discover what’s possible for you?

I offer one-on-one coaching, group coaching and workshops, all of which are intended for you to gain more clarity for the journey you're on and more self confidence as you travel your intended path. I’m looking for women who are interested in exploring what might be possible for themselves if only… book your Clarity Call, let's see if together, we'd make a good team for You.

Why choose me?

What is my greatest skill? I bounce back. I transition well. I am incredibly resilient. Think of the number of transitions required in the average life: we transition from school to school as kids, then to college, then into early careers, perhaps into partnership and/or parenting and eventually, more career changes, the caretaking of elderly parents and the physical changes of simply growing older. And then there’s the unforeseen stuff: addiction (ours or perhaps a family member) or perhaps codependency. Moving forward after the loss of a spouse/partner. The hurdle of midlife changes for women and all physical and emotional changes that brings. Perhaps pivoting into a late in life career change.

The list is far from complete, but I’ve wandered through every transition listed above: I was the addict seeking recovery. I was widowed at an early age and learned to navigate single parenthood. My college career began as a music major and transitioned to culinary arts, then took a 180 degree turn to social work. I went from being a Chef/Pastry Chef to Social Worker to Yoga Teacher and now to Coach. I’ve been disabled and poor. I’ve cared for elderly family members at the end of life. I’ve clawed my way through menopause and can happily say there’s life on the other side. One of my greatest assets is slightly dark sense of humor, it's seen me through a lot.

It would be my honor to work with you as your coach and cheerleader to finding your way home to yourself.
